Fifth Sunday of Lent
Our parable for this Sunday appears only in Luke's gospel. If you have access to a couple of different Bibles around the house, take a look this week and see how this parable is titled in them. In the first two I consulted, one titled it the "Parable of the Unjust Steward" and the other titled it the "Parable of the Shrewd Manager." Those are two very different appellations for this guy who must have been a human resources nightmare. What do you think Jesus was trying to communicate with this odd story?
