Palm Sunday

Holy Week begins this Sunday with Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. And that triumphal entry begins with Jesus giving some peculiarly specific instructions about a donkey to his disciples. What could be a better enticement to get out of bed and come to church on a Sunday morning that knowing we'll get to learn a little about first century Palestinian animal husbandry practices. Join us this Sunday as we look at Luke 19:28-40.

Have you grown bored of sitting inside on Wednesday evenings wishing someone would invite you to come pick up sticks in the church cemetery? If this describes you, then prepare for an evening of fun this Wednesday (16 March)! We'll feed you dinner at 6:00 (note the earlier start time!) and then help the Cemetery Committee get the grounds ready for Holy Week services.

    Youth Triennium

    The biggest Presbyterian Youth event in the country happens once every three years, and this is the summer. Registration is now open to any from rising ninth graders through graduated seniors. Details are available in the narthex, or here

    Sr. High Retreat

    The Holston Presbytery Sr. High retreat will be 8-10 April at Holston Camp. Registration is $50 ($45 if you bring a friend who doesn't go to Timber Ridge). You can register online and the church will be billed after the retreat.
