The Mark of the Beast
Perhaps no text of Revelation has generated as much speculation as chapter 13 and the "mark of the beast." Is the number 666 or 616, and to what or whom does it refer anyway? Plenty of suggestions have been put forth through the centuries, certain that a particular person was the incarnation of this beast in John's vision. There's even a term for the fear of the number, called hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia, and in 1989, Ronald and Nancy Reagan had the number of their Bel-Air house changed from 666 to 668 to avoid association with this mystical number. Building Fund Offering
Our annual building fund collection took place earlier this month, but it's not too late to give if you missed out. This fund exists primarily to pay for necessary repairs and improvements on the beautiful church building we have inherited, keeping it in good repair for our children and their children to worship in for generations to come
